The Speedmaster is one of OMEGA’s most iconic timepieces, having been a part of all six lunar missions. With its two moons made from genuine moon meteorite, this 43.00 mm Moonphase watch is a striking tribute to that distinguished legacy. Its dial, a PVD black-coated meteorite plate, features hour/minute hands and indexes in 18K white gold. The hands on the two black-coated subdials are also in 18K white gold. At 6 o’clock is the unique Moonphase display, with north and south hemisphere indications, and two moons, made from shaped, polished and domed lunar meteorite which fell to Earth. The case in polished-brushed stainless steel is complemented by a polished black ceramic bezel ring with white enamel tachymeter scale. Fixing the Moonphase watch to the wrist is a bracelet in polished-brushed stainless steel. With patented comfort release adjustment as used on the famous Speedmaster. Powering the timepiece is the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer 9914 manual winding chronograph calibre, which has been officially certified by METAS.

I showed up at the wrong time because I had checked their hours during the holidays and didn’t realize they had changed back to regular hours when I visited. Despite this being entirely my mistake, the owner graciously let me in anyway. I needed a custom engraving on a vintage piece for my mother’s 65th birthday, and they worked quickly to make sure I got it in time. Their kindness and flexibility when I got the timing wrong really meant a lot to me. They went above and beyond to help make my mom’s birthday special. Highly recommend this shop for their excellent customer service and quality work!
